Outlaw gangs are plundering railroads, evading capture by moving to New Mexico. The Durango Kid, aka Kip, takes a break to track down Cass and his gang, bringing them to justice. However, the gang is ambushed and killed in a bank heist, leaving Kip to find the stolen loot, enlisting the help of Tex and Grubstake, with Grubstake unaware of his involvement.
