Eddie Parker, an American stuntman and actor, lived a remarkable life, marked by his extensive appearances in numerous classic films, primarily westerns and horror films, from December 12, 1900, until his untimely passing on January 20, 1960.
Throughout his illustrious career, Parker was involved in the production of several iconic films and serials, including the 1943 film adaptation of "Batman," where he served as the stunt double for Lewis Wilson. He also appeared in the popular serial "The Crimson Ghost," and was cast as the Mummy in the 1955 comedy film "Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy."
In addition to his work in film, Parker performed stunts for the 1954 film "Rear Window," directed by the renowned Alfred Hitchcock, as well as numerous classic Universal horror films. His versatility as a stuntman and actor also led to appearances in the early television series "Tales of the Texas Rangers," where he made a total of three appearances.
