Nathan Fillion, a Canadian-American actor, was born on March 27, 1971. He has had the privilege of playing leading roles in several notable projects throughout his career. One of his most iconic roles is that of Captain Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds in the TV series Firefly and its film continuation Serenity. Additionally, he has also played the character of Richard Castle in the TV series Castle, which aired from 2009 to 2016. Furthermore, as of 2018, Fillion has been starring as John Nolan in the TV series The Rookie.
