Soumendra Bhattacharya, a trailblazing individual, co-founded the renowned Kolkata-based theatre company, Mad About Drama, paving the way for a prolific career in the world of entertainment.
His foray into feature films began with the Bengali horror thriller, Ludo, in 2015, a cinematic masterpiece that left audiences enthralled. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, with subsequent appearances in the detective thriller, Byomkesh O Agnibaan, in 2017, and the television series, Charitraheen, in 2018.
In 2019, Soumendra took on a pivotal role in the horror thriller film, Bhoot Chaturdashi, skillfully bringing to life the character under the direction of Shabbir Mallick.
Born and raised in Kolkata, Soumendra's formative years were spent at Don Bosco Park Circus, where he developed a shy and quiet demeanor. However, a transformative moment in standard nine changed the course of his life, as he discovered his passion for public speaking and plays, ultimately leading him to pursue a career in the performing arts.
