Regina Blois Duarte, a talented Brazilian actress and theater director, was born on February 5, 1947. Her journey in the entertainment industry began in 1965, when she made her television debut on TV Excelsior, initially taking on minor roles. However, her hard work and dedication soon led to her becoming the protagonist of several popular soap operas, including Anjo Marcado, Legião dos Esquecidos, and O Primeiro Pecado.
Unfortunately, due to a financial crisis that ultimately led to the broadcaster's bankruptcy in 1969, Duarte was forced to seek new opportunities. She subsequently transferred to TV Globo, where she went on to play a wide range of notable characters in numerous successful soap operas. Some of her most notable roles during this period include Irmãos Coragem, Selva de Pedra, Sétimo Sentido, Roque Santeiro, Vale Tudo, Rainha da Sucata, O Astro (2011),and Malu Mulher, in addition to the Helenas trilogy in works by Manoel Carlos – História de Amor, Por Amor, and Páginas da Vida.
