Patrick Bresnan is a multifaceted visual artist and filmmaker, whose artistic journey began with a pivotal period of mentorship under the guidance of renowned Mission School artists Barry McGee, also known as Twist, and Clare Rojas.
In 2016, Bresnan co-directed the short documentary The Send-Off alongside his partner, Ivete Lucas. This collaborative effort marked a significant milestone in his career.
The following year, 2017, saw the world premiere of his short film, The Rabbit Hunt, at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival. The film went on to compete at the esteemed Berlinale and has since accumulated an impressive array of accolades, including The Cinema Eye Honor, with a total of over 20 awards to its name.
In addition to his success with The Rabbit Hunt, Bresnan and Lucas also directed the short film Roadside Attraction in 2017. This project premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF),further solidifying their reputation as a talented filmmaking duo.
