In January 2013, Galrani embarked on her cinematic journey by signing her first film project, which marked the beginning of an exciting chapter in her career. Her first assignment was to play the lead role in the Kannada remake of the Tamil film Paiyaa, a decision that was made after a rigorous audition process.
Just three days after signing her first project, Galrani landed her next role in the Tamil film Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka, which further solidified her position in the industry. Moreover, she also signed her first Malayalam film, 1983, within a few weeks, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
Interestingly, despite being the last film she signed in 2013, 1983 went on to become her debut film and a major box office hit, releasing in early 2014. The delay in the production of Yagavarayinum Naa Kaakka meant that Galrani's maiden Tamil release was actually Darling, a horror comedy that she began filming much later.
