Neeraj Ghaywan is a renowned Indian film director and writer, whose work has garnered numerous accolades, including a prestigious National Film Award and two coveted Filmfare Awards.
Prior to venturing into direction, Ghaywan honed his skills by assisting acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap on two notable projects, Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) and Ugly (2013).
In 2015, Ghaywan made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Masaan, which earned widespread recognition and won two prestigious prizes at the Cannes Film Festival, including the FIPRESCI prize.
Ghaywan's 2017 short film, Juice, also received widespread acclaim and won him the Filmfare Award for Best Short Film-Fiction.
