Mihály Víg is a multifaceted Hungarian artist, boasting a diverse range of creative pursuits, including composition, poetry, songwriting, guitar playing, and singing. As a co-founder of the renowned bands Trabant, active from 1980 to 1986, and Balaton, which has been a staple of the music scene since 1979, Víg has consistently demonstrated his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Beyond his work in music, Víg has also collaborated with the acclaimed film director Béla Tarr on a number of projects, showcasing his talents as an actor as well as a composer. Some of his most notable collaborations with Tarr include the films "Damnation", "Sátántangó", where he also took on the lead role, "Werckmeister Harmonies", "The Man from London", and "The Turin Horse".
