In addition to her filmmaking endeavors, Megan is also the co-founder of Women in Film & Television Australia, where she is a passionate advocate for women's representation in the screen industries. Her dedication to this cause is evident in her dual role as a filmmaker and industry advocate.
In 2017, Megan launched Hemlock & Cedar Films, a production company that combines her passion for filmmaking with her commitment to promoting female-led screen content. The company's first project, Dark Whispers Vol. 1, is a groundbreaking Australian women's horror anthology that has been screened at various festivals in Australia, including Cinefest Oz, Monsterfest, and ScreenWave Film Festival.
