The renowned Ukrainian film director, whose academic pursuits took her to the esteemed Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, where she honed her craft alongside other talented individuals.

Subsequent to her time at the Ukrainian institution, she further refined her skills at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing in Poland, a testament to her dedication to mastering the art of filmmaking.

As a respected member of the European Film Academy since 2017, she has undoubtedly made a significant impact within the industry.

Throughout her illustrious career, she has collaborated with her husband, Mehmet Bahadir Er, on various projects, including the films Black Dogs Barking, Love Me, and Omar and Us.

However, it is her latest endeavour, Klondike, that marks a significant milestone in her career, as it represents the first film she has both written and directed solo, showcasing her growth as a filmmaker and her unwavering commitment to her craft.
