Martha Hyer, the renowned American actress, was born on August 10, 1924, in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Northwestern University, where she was a member of the prestigious Pi Beta Phi fraternity. After completing her education, Hyer began her acting career in 1946 with a role in the film The Locket.
