Dato' Jalaluddin Hassan, a renowned Malaysian actor, was born on February 18th, 1954. His illustrious career has spanned a wide range of roles, with one of his most notable achievements being the hosting of the Malaysian version of the popular game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, in Malay.
This accomplished actor has received numerous accolades for his contributions to the entertainment industry. In 2007, he was awarded the prestigious Darjah Kebesaran Tuanku Jaafar (DKTJ) by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Ja'afar, in celebration of his birthday.
Born to a family of notable individuals, Dato' Jalaluddin Hassan is the third child of Tan Sri Haji Hassan Azhari, a respected Koran teacher. His eldest brother, Tan Sri Musa Hassan, is a former Inspector General of Police (IGP),while his other brothers, Dato' Fuad Hassan, are a former assemblyman in Ulu Klang and currently serves as the Director General of Special Affairs Department (JASA) in the Ministry of Information.
