Ivete Lucas, a talented filmmaker, was born in the vibrant country of Brazil. She embarked on her illustrious career in the dynamic city of Mexico, before eventually settling down in the United States.
Throughout her remarkable journey, Lucas has collaborated with her partner, Patrick Bresnan, on various projects. One of their most notable achievements is the short documentary, "The Send-Off," which premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2016. The film received widespread acclaim, earning jury awards at prominent festivals such as SXSW, AFI Fest, and the San Francisco International Film Festival.
In addition to her work on "The Send-Off," Lucas also served as the producer and editor of the multiple award-winning short film, "The Rabbit Hunt," directed by Bresnan in 2017.
