HONG Kyung-in, a youthful and talented individual, embarked on his acting journey at the tender age of 16, making his screen debut in the esteemed Korean classic, Our Twisted Hero, in the early 1990s. As a teenager, he continued to appear in some of the most pivotal films of the mid-1990s, including The Eternal Empire and A Single Spark, showcasing his remarkable acting prowess.
As his career progressed, HONG began to branch out into television dramas, solidifying his position as a versatile and dedicated actor. Over the course of 20 years, he consistently took on co-starring roles in films, including the hit gangster comedy, Hi! Dharma, in 2001.
After a brief hiatus from the big screen, HONG made a triumphant return in 2013 with a part in the highly acclaimed spy drama, Secretly Greatly. He then starred alongside KIM In-gwon in the thought-provoking and issue-raising drama, Apostle, set against the backdrop of North Korea, in 2014.
