Zhang Zi-Ting, a native of Beijing, has made a lasting impression on the entertainment industry with his impressive acting career spanning over 60 titles and numerous television serials. Hang's journey in the film industry began in 1968 when he joined Shaw Brothers, a renowned production company. During his time with Shaw Brothers, he starred in two notable martial arts films, "Tomorrow Is Another Day" and "The Fastest Sword". In both films, he played the role of Chu Ching's father, showcasing his impressive acting skills.
However, Hang's contract with Shaw Brothers was only for five years, and he eventually decided to part ways with the company due to the extensive traveling required for his work. He then turned to various Taiwanese film companies during the 1960s and 1980s, where he appeared in a range of films, including "Secret Agent Chang Kong No.1", "Clam Fairy", and "It All Started With A Bed".
