Eleonora Rossi Drago, born Palmira Omiccioli, was a renowned Italian film actress, born on September 23, 1925, in Quinto al Mare, Genoa, Italy. She embarked on a illustrious acting career, landing the leading role in Michelangelo Antonioni's critically acclaimed film, Le amiche. Subsequently, she collaborated with acclaimed director Pietro Germi on the project, Un maledetto imbroglio.
Eleonora's outstanding performance in Valerio Zurlini's Estate violenta earned her the prestigious best actress prize at the Mar del Plata Film Festival in 1960, as well as the Nastro d'argento.
