Dan Lin, born April 8, 1973, is a multifaceted Taiwanese-American entertainment professional, renowned for his accomplishments in the film and television industry.

As the chairman of Netflix Films, Lin plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's cinematic endeavors.

In addition, he is the founder of Rideback, a production company that has undergone a name change from Lin Pictures in 2018. Established in 2008, Rideback has been the driving force behind numerous successful projects.

Lin's impressive production credits include Warner Bros.' Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, and the record-breaking horror film It, which holds the distinction of being the highest-grossing horror film to date.

Furthermore, Lin has also produced Disney's live-action adaptation of the beloved 1992 animated feature, Aladdin.
