Born in Liverpool, England, and raised in the same city, Joe Sloane's early life laid the foundation for his future success in the entertainment industry. His most notable roles to date include that of Aiden Mathis in the popular television series Revenge, as well as his portrayal of Joe "Bear" Graves in the TV series Six. Additionally, he is recognized for his role as Captain Price in the Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare video game.
Sloane's career in television began in England, where he appeared in numerous shows, including the BAFTA award-winning dramas Pleasureland and The Mark of Cain. He also originated the role of Troy Whitworth in Jez Butterworth's critically acclaimed play Jerusalem at The Royal Court Theatre in London.
The play's success led to Sloane reprising his role in the West End production, which ran for a record-breaking sell-out period before transferring to Broadway. In 2011, Sloane made his Broadway debut in Jerusalem at the Music Box Theatre in New York, having previously made his West End debut in Willy Russell's Blood Brothers in 2005.
