Legendary entertainer Bob Hope hosted and occasionally starred in one of the last major anthology series on network television. Dramatic and comedy shows featuring Hollywood's top names were presented regularly, including many who didn't do much television otherwise. Each month or so, Hope would host a variety special during this show's timeslot, titled "Chrysler Presents a Bob Hope Special." These reruns, usually shown as summer replacement series in the late 1960s and early 1970s, featured various hosts.
