Rossano Brazzi was a renowned Italian actor, born on September 18, 1916, in Bologna, Italy, to Adelmo and Maria (née Ghedini) Brazzi. He was raised from the age of four in Florence, Italy, where he attended San Marco University.
Rossano Brazzi's acting career began in 1939, and he eventually gained international recognition with his role in the English-language film Three Coins in the Fountain in 1954. This was followed by his leading male role in David Lean's Summertime in 1955, opposite the legendary Katharine Hepburn.
