A rancher's desperate plan to save his infected cattle from destruction sets off a chain of events, as he and his accomplice attempt to illegally drive the herd across the state line, but a determined individual is hot on their trail to put a stop to the scheme.

A group of infected cattle pose a problem for rancher Brent, who cleverly rebrands them and secretly transfers them to the Evans ranch. With the authorities demanding the destruction of the entire herd, Brent enlists the help of Larry Smith to illegally drive the cattle across the range.
