In 1845 Vienna, Johann Strauss II, a young composer, is fired from his bank job for prioritizing his waltzes over his duties. He decides to pursue his passion and forms an orchestra. After his music is discovered by famous opera singers, including Carla Donner, he becomes the toast of Vienna, earning fame and recognition.
