Two out-of-work musicians, Scat Sweeney and Hot Lips Barton, flee a circus fire by stowing away on a ship bound for Rio. They become entangled with Lucia, a woman who's been hypnotized to marry a man in Rio, and team up to stop the wedding and uncover the scheme.
