Lorna Drake, a new arrival from England, takes the reins of a ranch, where she clashes frequently with Hoppy, but secretly develops feelings for him, much to the dismay of her fiancé Ronald. Meanwhile, Scar manipulates Ronald into plotting against Hoppy, but the plan is foiled, and a raging forest fire puts Lorna's life in peril.
