Muggs is framed by gamblers and banned from horse racing. He starts a collection to save Ma Brown's stable from foreclosure. But when one of the gamblers falls for Ma Brown's daughter and confesses to the frame, the others try to silence him and ruin Muggs and Ma Brown's reputation.

Muggs, a former horse racing star, is framed by gamblers and subsequently banned from competing. Seeking to help his owner, Ma Brown, he raises funds to prevent her stable from being foreclosed, but his efforts are complicated by the involvement of the very gamblers who wronged him.
