In 1950s Hollywood, a renowned producer, Larry O'Brian, establishes a film company and acquires a neglected studio once used for silent movies. During a tour, he visits the office where the renowned director Franklin Ferrara was mysteriously murdered, a case that remains unsolved despite numerous suspects.
