When twin Texas cities Bradfield and Hempstead compete in a business exposition, they each hire a press agent to outdo the other. Jo Allen, posing as a schoolteacher named Judy, befriends Jimmy Maxwell, the press agent for Hempstead, to learn his secrets. Meanwhile, Jo's friend Churchill poses as Jo Allen at her request.
