A tragedy strikes the Mullins family when their young daughter Bee is killed in a car accident. Twelve years later, Samuel and his wife Esther open their home to a nun and six orphaned girls, with one condition: certain rooms remain off-limits. Despite the rules, one curious girl, Janice, sneaks into Bee's old room and unleashes a malevolent force while playing with a doll.
