The 1939 western film "Three Texas Steers" follows the adventures of three Texas Rangers, Stony Brooke, Rusty Joslin, and Rico, as they attempt to bring law and order to the lawless Panhandle territory. After nursing a wounded young boy back to health, Stony vows vengeance when the boy is killed by the notorious King Barton and his gang. The Mesquiteers devise a plan to lure the outlaws into Texas, with Stony posing as his outlaw double, The Laredo Kid, to infiltrate the gang. However, things become complicated when the real Laredo Kid appears, threatening to expose Stony's true identity.
