Yōko Koizumi, a renowned Japanese actress, has maintained a diverse and storied career, utilizing not only her given stage name but also the alternate moniker Nobiko Sawa.

Initially, in the year 1974, she affiliated herself with the esteemed Toei Kyoto, a prominent production company in the Japanese entertainment industry. It was in 1975 that she first appeared on the silver screen, portraying the role of a tragic heroine in the notable film "Gambling Den Heist".

Contrary to expectations, Yōko Koizumi did not relinquish her acting career following her marriage. Instead, in 1977, she underwent a significant career transformation, adopting the stage name Nobiko Sawa and continuing to actively participate in Toei's cinematic and dramatic endeavors.
