Yasuko Nagazumi, born in 1943, is a multifaceted Japanese individual who has excelled in various professions throughout her career. As a producer and manager, she has been responsible for conceptualizing and executing numerous print advertising campaigns for renowned clients such as Armani, Donna Karan, Guess?, Pirelli, and Vogue magazine.
Collaborating with esteemed photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Herb Ritts, and Helmut Newton, among others, Nagazumi has showcased her exceptional taste and expertise in the industry. Her work has undoubtedly contributed to the success of these prominent brands.
Before transitioning to her current roles, Nagazumi had a successful acting career, particularly in British television. She was a regular cast member on the 1970s series The Protectors, playing the character Suki, and also appeared in Space: 1999 as Yasko. Her film credits include Deadlier Than the Male (1967) alongside Michael Caine, James Bond's You Only Live Twice (1967),and the TV spin-off film Wombling Free (1977).
In addition to her acting endeavors, Nagazumi has also made appearances in the World War II comedy series It Ain't Half Hot Mum and the TV series From Here to Eternity.
Notably, Nagazumi is the proud mother of Miki Berenyi, the lead singer and guitarist of the English alternative rock band Lush.
