Born in the year 1927, in the city of Agrinio, a renowned Greek actor embarked on a journey to hone his craft, enrolling in the esteemed drama schools of Sokratis Karatinos and the National Theater. As a result, he had the privilege of participating in numerous classic films of Greek cinema, leaving an indelible mark on the industry with his performances in productions such as Thiasos and The Stone Years.
It was, however, his portrayal of the servant Mathios in the film family of the "Fourtunakis" in the film "The Fairy and the Boy" that catapulted him to widespread recognition, solidifying his status as a talented thespian. In addition to his acting endeavors, Grammenos was also one of the co-founders of the cooperative troupe of S.E.H. Arma Theater, and he worked as an assistant director in the cinema, further expanding his repertoire.
Beyond his work in the film industry, Grammenos also ventured into journalism, contributing to the literary magazine Efitheorisi Technis, where he penned insightful reviews of theater and cinema productions. Furthermore, in 1974, he founded the publishing company Thymari, a testament to his multifaceted talents and his dedication to the arts.
