Biography

At the tender age of 16, in the year 1976, Hemingway embarked on her cinematic journey by starring in the provocative and controversial Nunsploitation drama, Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun, under the visionary direction of the renowned filmmaker, Jess Franco.

This inaugural foray into the world of filmmaking marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with Franco, who would go on to direct Hemingway in a total of seven more films over the course of the next seven years. These subsequent projects, which spanned the genres of mainstream and hardcore cinema, included the two explicit productions, They Do Everything and Burning Up Inside.

As Hemingway's career continued to unfold, she would ultimately bring her acting endeavors to a close in 1983, marking the culmination of her time in the spotlight as a performer in both mainstream and hardcore films.
