Stacey Shiflett's remarkable journey began in 1976, when he was saved, and continued to unfold in 1993, when he was called to preach. Born into a family with a strong faith, Shiflett grew up in the home of a pastor and missionary, surrounded by the rich sounds of ministry and the rhythms of faith.
During the 1980s, Shiflett and his family served together in Samoa and Hawaii, where they immersed themselves in the local cultures and communities. This formative experience would later shape his approach to ministry and his understanding of the world.
After completing Bible College, Shiflett and his wife, along with their children, embarked on a five-year mission in South Africa. This challenging yet rewarding experience deepened their faith and broadened their perspectives.
In 2006, Shiflett accepted the call to pastor Pleasant View Baptist Church in Taylors, South Carolina, a position he held until 2014. Following this, he became the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk, Maryland, where he continues to serve to this day.
When not tending to his flock, Pastor Shiflett indulges in a variety of hobbies, including deer hunting, reading, playing instruments, songwriting, and spending quality time with his family. He is blessed with a loving wife, Grace, and five children, who all share a passion for music and ministry.
Together, the Shiflett family delights in singing and serving the Lord through various church ministries. They also enjoy participating in campmeetings, conferences, and revival meetings, as God permits.
In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Shiflett has authored numerous books, tracts, and articles, many of which have been translated into other languages and are now used as Sunday School curriculum and Bible College courses. His writing is a testament to his commitment to spreading the gospel and his desire to inspire and equip others for ministry.
