Sreekanth is a seasoned Indian actor with an impressive career spanning over five decades, having appeared in approximately 200 Tamil films since his debut in 1965. This talented thespian is widely regarded as one of the most versatile actors in the history of Tamil Cinema, earning him the nickname Venniradai Sreekanth.
Throughout his illustrious career, Sreekanth has played a wide range of roles, showcasing his remarkable acting prowess. Between 1965 and 1979, he took on the lead hero role in around 50 films, sharing the screen with other notable actors of the time, including Sivaji Ganesan, Muthuraman, Ravichandran, and Jaishankar.
