Saša Gedeon, a Czech filmmaker of immense talent, was born on the twenty-ninth of August in the year 1970. His career in the world of cinema began to take shape as he graduated from the prestigious Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the year 1995.

In the year 1999, Gedeon's film, Návrat idiota, received widespread acclaim and earned him the International Jury Award at the São Paulo International Film Festival.
