Sakina Samo embarked on her acting career in regional television plays and radio dramas in Pakistan, marking the beginning of her illustrious journey in the entertainment industry. Her groundbreaking performance in the social-drama "Dewarain" catapulted her into the public spotlight, earning her widespread recognition and a nomination for Best Actress, which would be the first of many accolades to come. "Dewarain" cemented Sakina's position as the nation's leading character actress, and she continued to work alongside some of the most renowned directors in the industry, delivering performances that garnered both critical and commercial acclaim.
After taking a temporary hiatus, Sakina returned to the screen in 2000, not only acting in several award-winning dramas but also producing and directing them.
