Russell Floyd, a talented British actor, was born on May 29, 1962, in Croydon, London, England. After completing his education at RADA, he began his acting career, taking on the role of Rick, the swimming instructor of Sally Reid, in three episodes of the popular television series, London's Burning.
Floyd's subsequent roles included that of Bridge Street Market Inspector Michael Rose in the BBC soap opera, EastEnders, from 1996 to 1999. He also portrayed DC Ken Drummond in the ITV police drama, The Bill, from 2002 to 2005. In addition, he appeared as a detective in the Sky One football drama, Dream Team, in 2005.
Furthermore, Floyd has had roles in the BBC medical drama, Doctors, in both 2006 and 2010, playing unrelated characters in each instance. He also starred in the BBC drama, Casualty, in 2007.
