Mohd Ridzuan bin Hashim, a renowned Malaysian actor, embarked on his journey in the entertainment industry as a male model, participating in pageant shows and commercial advertisements. He eventually transitioned to acting, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the 1990s through local films and television dramas, earning recognition for his exceptional method acting.
Mohd Ridzuan's acting career began with his debut in the 1988 film "Antara Dua Hati," directed by Rosnani Jamil, alongside main members cast Raja Ema and Sabree Fadzil. He subsequently secured his first Hollywood role as Officer Min in "Beyond Rangoon" (1995). He continued to take on various roles in dramas and films, including the television action drama series "Evolusi KL Drift: The Series" and the film "Evolusi KL Drift" (2008).
In addition to his work in Malaysian productions, Mohd Ridzuan also made his mark in Bollywood, starring as Jaruwan in "Don 2" (2011). His most notable role was that of King, the main antagonist gangster, in the 2011 film "KL Gangster." The film's success led to him reprising his role in "KL Gangster 2" (2013) and "Rise to Power: KLGU" (2019).
Tragically, Mohd Ridzuan's life was cut short when he passed away on May 4, 2023, at Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) due to a heart attack. His body was laid to rest at Dusun Tua Islamic Cemetery in Hulu Langat, Selangor.
