Ricky Ko, professionally known as Ko Tsz Pun, is a renowned film director hailing from Hong Kong. After completing his education in Australia in 1996, he returned to his hometown and began his career in the television industry by joining TVB as an assistant director in 1997. Throughout his tenure, he played a crucial role in the production of numerous large-scale dramas.
As his experience and expertise grew, Ko eventually resigned from TVB in 2004 and transitioned to the film industry. Prior to making his directorial debut, he served as a First Assistant Director on various film projects. This invaluable experience laid the groundwork for his future success.
In 2021, Ko finally made his directorial debut with the film "Time", which garnered widespread recognition and accolades. The film's impressive reception led to numerous invitations to prominent film festivals worldwide, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Far East Film Festival, London Asian Film Festival, New York Asian Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Asian Film Festival Barcelona, and Zurich Film Festival.
