Pieter Moses Burnama, professionally known as Pietrajaya Burnama or Piet Burnama, was a renowned Indonesian actor, screenwriter, and film director who dominated the industry from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Born on August 8, 1934, in Cirebon, West Java, Burnama's parents hailed from the Moluccas, who had migrated to Java before Indonesia's independence. This cultural heritage significantly influenced his work, particularly in the realm of comedy and action-themed movies.
