Nikita Andreevich Kukushkin is a Russian theater and film actor, as well as a public figure, born on November 14, 1990, in Moscow.
He studied at the Class-center school with a theatrical bias and performed in the Children's Musical Theater as a teenager. Later, he enrolled in the College of Culture in absentia, but left after several months.
Kukushkin then attended the Moscow Art Theater Studio School, where he studied under the guidance of Kirill Serebrennikov. After graduation, he continued to work with Serebrennikov at the Seventh Studio and the Gogol Center, where he has become one of the leading actors.
In 2019, he staged his first directorial work at the Gogol Center, a play based on the work of Valery Pecheykin. For his performance in the film "Correction Class", he received a Special jury Prize at the Amur Autumn Festival.
He has appeared in supporting roles in several films, including "Okolofootball", "Harms", "Captain Volkonogov Ran", "Attraction", and television series such as "Method", "Walking through the Torments", and "Call Center". In 2020, he starred in the dystopian web series "amroN" directed by Maxim Didenko.
Kukushkin is also a volunteer and has organized several charity projects, including "Good Box", which assists the poor, and "#yavpomosh", which provides support to pensioners during the coronavirus pandemic. He has also participated in flood relief efforts in the Krasnodar Territory.
In addition, he has recorded a video in support of the defendants in the "Moscow Case" and launched a new charity initiative called "Help" in December 2020. As part of this initiative, a mobile application has been created that displays profiles and stories of real people in need of help on a map. Users can donate funds to assist these individuals, and the service provides quarterly and annual reports, including photos and receipts of purchases made.
