Yusuf Piskin is a multifaceted Turkish artist, born in Kemerhisar, Nigde, with a rich and diverse career spanning over four decades. He graduated from Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Theatre Department in 1985 and began his professional journey by working in various state theatres, including Bursa, Ankara, and Istanbul.
Throughout his career, Piskin has demonstrated his versatility as an actor, director, and manager. He has worked in numerous state theatres, including Bursa, Adana, Diyarbakir, Trabzon, Ankara, and Istanbul, as well as in private and paid theatres. He has directed plays in several state theatres and has also worked as a director in various cities, including Izmit, Bakirkoy, Eskisehir, and Skopje.
In addition to his work in theatre, Piskin has also made a name for himself in the world of cinema and television. He has starred in numerous films and television series, including the popular series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" and the film "Kurtlar Vadisi Gladio". He has also appeared in the series "Subat" and "Poyraz Karayel", which were broadcast on TRT 1 and Kanal D respectively.
As a playwright, Piskin has written two plays, "Hüzün Mahallesi Otobüsü" and "Turtle's Lullaby", with the former being published and staged at the State Theatres. He has also worked as an instructor at several universities, including Uludag University, Eskisehir Anadolu University, Mimar Sinan University, and Halic University.
Currently, Piskin is an instructor at Yeditepe University and continues to work in the entertainment industry. He is also the President of TOBAV Istanbul Branch and has been involved in various projects, including dubbing and production.
