Patsy Ann McClenny, better known by her stage name Morgan Fairchild, is a renowned American actress born on February 3, 1950. Her illustrious career in the entertainment industry spans multiple decades, with a significant portion of her fame achieved during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Fairchild initially gained prominence with recurring roles in several television series, often portraying glamorous characters. Her early career began with a stint in the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow, where she played the character of Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977.
In 1978, she made a notable appearance on the primetime soap opera Dallas, becoming the first actress to portray the character of Jenna Wade. This was followed by a lead role in the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980, for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Television Series Drama.
The following year, Fairchild co-starred in the short-lived ABC primetime soap Paper Dolls. She then appeared in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. In addition to her work in television, Fairchild has also performed in theater and has made guest appearances in various television comedies, including Murphy Brown, Roseanne, Cybill, and Friends.
