Mihkel Smeljanski, a renowned Estonian singer and actor, was born on March 8, 1950, in the charming town of Haapsalu. He would go on to leave an indelible mark on the world of entertainment before his passing on February 21, 2020.
Smeljanski's educational background was marked by a brief stint at the Theater Arts Department of the Tallinn State Conservatory from 1970 to 1972, although he did not ultimately graduate. However, this early exposure to the performing arts would prove to be a catalyst for his future endeavors.
From 1974 to 1990, Smeljanski honed his craft as an actor at the esteemed Endla Theater, a prestigious institution that has been a mainstay of Estonian cultural life for generations.
