Throughout his illustrious career, Marlin has directed and shot programs for numerous international travel-adventure companies, corporations, and government tourism bureaus. His exceptional work has earned him the prestigious Bertrand Holmes Award for best travel films showcase, presented by his fellow travel producers.
Marlin's international shots have been featured on prominent television networks, including PBS, History Channel, and Discovery Channel. His documentary, shot and directed in Egypt, was screened at the Cairo Opera House, captivating an audience of 3000 guests.
As a geo-travel lecturer, Marlin has presented his features to audiences in over 100 theaters and auditoriums across America, including esteemed venues such as the Harvard Club and the Philadelphia Geographical Society.
In addition to his documentary work, Marlin has written, directed, and produced three acclaimed 90-minute dramatic feature films. His movie, MONSOON WIFE, was the first American film shot entirely in Cambodia since "Lord Jim." Universal Studios acquired the movie, and television rights have been sold to over 10 countries. Darrah's subsequent films, AMAZON QUEEN and EGYPTIAN AFFAIR, were also met with critical acclaim.
