Young's early work includes stunts in films such as Bloodsport III, Sworn to Justice, L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach, Champions, and Better Never Than Late. He also performed stunts in the thriller True Vengeance and the action film Recoil.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Young worked on several television series, including Walker, Texas Ranger, Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, V.I.P., Angel, The Invisible Man, and The District.
