Madhavan Nair, professionally known as Madhu, is a renowned Indian film actor who has made a lasting impact in the Malayalam cinema industry. With a career spanning several decades, Madhu was a dominant force in the 1960s and 1970s, starring in numerous leading roles.
In addition to his successful acting career, Madhu has also ventured into filmmaking, taking on the roles of director and producer. At one point, he even owned the prestigious production company, Uma Film Studio. His remarkable contributions to the world of arts have been recognized and celebrated by the Government of India, which bestowed upon him the prestigious Padma Shri award in 2013.
