Lisa Marie Varon is a renowned American professional wrestler, former bodybuilder, and fitness competitor, boasting an impressive career spanning multiple decades. She first gained recognition in the world of fitness, winning ESPN2's Fitness America Series in 1997 and subsequently earning her International Federation of BodyBuilders Professional Fitness Card in 1999 after placing second at a fitness event in New York.
Varon's entry into professional wrestling was facilitated by a chance encounter with WWE performer Chyna, who encouraged her to pursue a career in the sport. Following three years of training in WWE's developmental territories, she made her main roster debut under the ring name Victoria in June 2002.
Her inaugural television appearance was at WrestleMania 2000 as one of The Godfather's Hos, and she quickly rose through the ranks, being pushed to win the WWE Women's Championship just four months later. Throughout her WWE tenure, Varon held the title twice, solidifying her status as a formidable competitor.
In 2009, Varon departed WWE and went on to join Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) later that year, adopting the ring name Tara. In TNA, she accumulated an impressive array of accolades, becoming a five-time TNA Women's Knockout Champion, thereby increasing her overall total of Women's Championships to seven.
Moreover, Varon, as part of the tag team TnT alongside Brooke Tessmacher, secured the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship, further expanding her impressive résumé.
